If you heard a remarkable paper by a graduate student at ASAP/9, or if you’re a graduate student who delivered a paper that advances the mission of the ASAP in ways you find exciting, the prize committee wants to read it.

Nominate yourself or someone else to win the Graduate Student Paper Prize by sending the paper exactly as it was delivered at ASAP/9 to: infoatartsofthepresent@press.jhu.edu. The deadline for submissions is December 1.

The winning paper will be selected without regard to specific political point of view, aesthetic position, or topic. Its author will receive a copy of a book that won this year’s ASAP Book Prize, a waiver of the fee for the luncheon at the next conference, and a $100 cash award. More information about the selection process and the prize is available here.
