The Amy J. Elias Founder’s Award is a travel grant given to members seeking financial support to attend the annual conference. The award honors the organization’s founder, Amy J. Elias, who sought to make ASAP welcoming of as broad a range of scholars, critics, teachers, students, artists, activists, and practitioners as possible.
This year ASAP will distribute as many as six awards from the Amy J. Elias fund to support in-person attendance at ASAP/13. Priority for awards will be given to graduate students, contingent faculty, and independent artists/scholars without institutional travel support.
